Hello everyone!! Kymona here to show you how to create a 3D Scrapbook Page using the pattern paper in the Altenew Reflection Collection Kit.
Let’s take a look at how I created a 3D scrapbook page:
Don’t you just love how the butterflies look like they are floating off the page. The colors and the simplicity of this page warms my heart.
The individuals you see on this page are my EVERYTHING!! Say hello to my sibling!! Yes, there is 6 of us!! 3 boys and 3 girls!! Can you guess who is the oldest? If you guess me, you are correct! I’m the oldest of this bunch!! Now growing up was interesting for us, my parents had us in pairs. The person who we are standing next to, is our pair. So not only did we have each other, we have a special bond with our pair. Crazy right, nope! It’s the best thing, we thing. We speak everyday and we live miles apart. Blood is definitely thicker then water in our circle. LOL!!
Ok, enough about me, lets talk about how I created this page:
Use your photos to help make a decision on which pattern paper to use. Once the colors match perfectly with the paper, you have the right one.
Since the kit comes with more then one sheet of each pattern paper, use the second sheet of paper to cut out some of the butterflies so they could stand out on the page.
Before adhering anything down, place the photo and the butterflies where you want them to go to make sure everything was in the right place.
Once your satisfied with the placement, adhered everything down with foam tape.
Add some embellishments to the front of the photos to balance the butterflies out.
Using the stamp set, randomly stamp the sentiments on the page where it creates harmony with the photos.
Since the pattern paper is a bit busy, creating a big title isn’t needed. It would overcrowd the page.
Lets take another look:
Creating this page was so much fun and it’s one that I will treasure for a long time. So what do you think? Would you create a 3D scrapbook page using the element on your pattern paper? I would love to hear from you!
Thanks for stopping by!!
