A Combination Of Stamp Sets

Hello everyone! Enza back with you today to share a new layout featuring a combination of stamp sets: Wood Pallet Background, Blooming Bouquet, and More Than Words.

It happens sometimes that I have an idea in mind and not the right patterned paper to execute it. I originally wanted to use the beautiful wood grain paper included in the Reflection Scrapbook Collection, but I only had bits and pieces left, so I decided to create my own patterned paper with the Wood Pallet Background stamp set. After stamping a full 12×12 white card stock with it, I used a craft die from my stash to obtain stitched circles in a variety of sizes.

Then I did the same thing with my pictures. To create more interest and extra dimension, I printed a bigger and a smaller copy of the same picture and die cut it with the same dies in progressive sizes. I used foam dots to adhere them together. Once the background design was ready, I started working on the flower clusters. I heat-embossed all the images with Altenew Crisp Pure White embossing powder and used Altenew inks to color them. Lots of layers and dimension create a more natural and realistic look.

Finally, I added sentiments from the More Than Words stamp set on the edge of some circles. The Altenew Antique Gold embossing powder brought in the right amount of shine and coordinated perfectly with the other colors on the page. The tiny dotted stamps included in the Blooming Bouquet stamp set, as well as enamel dots in matching colors, completed the layout.
