Welcome to the Marker Release blog hop. If you have arrived here from the amazingly talented Erum, you are right on track.
Today we are getting creative with our two new Marker sets. They have been long awaited and now they are finally here.
Our Artist Markers are alcohol-based, allowing you to beautifully blend colors to any stamped images. Our various range of stamps are perfect for these markers. You can also easily pair them with our Crisp Dye Inks to take your coloring to the next level! The colors in this set are designed to be as close as possible to our existing ink colors, so you can take the color guessing game out of the way when coloring.
For this release I created a layout and two cards. The cards you can see on my blog.
Here is the layout I made.
First I created a background using the purple and pink/red shades. I created a second background and then stamped and embossed some feathers (Golden Feather stamp and die) on to it using our Platinum embossing powder.
TO add some detail I stamped some labels (Dot Labels stamp and die) using matching crisp ink colors (Lavander, Soft Lilac, Blush, Cotton Candy and and added some words on to them. The title I cut out by hand and comes from the Golden Feather stamp set.

You can see how I created this layout in the video below or watch it on YouTube in HD.

Wow! What a brilliant way to do a scrapbook page. I just love how you always think outside the box! Thanks Lilith for the inspiration. Haven’t tried these markers yet but love the way they have the shades of one colour to match the inks. Love the stamp layering sets and think it would be fun to colour them instead of inking.
