Super CAS Scrapbook Layout

by Kymona Tracey

Hello everyone!!!  Kymona here to show you how to create a super CAS scrapbook layout using the patten paper from the Altenew Reflection Scrapbook Kit, School Days Stamp Set and the Snapshots Stamp Set!!

Let’s take a look:

School Days

For this layout, I used the new School Days Stamp Set as the primary focus.  It’s a bold stamp set that stands on its own.  I love the size and style of the font. The young man in the photo is my brother who is the last of six children.  His graduation day was such an exciting day for my family. He is destined for great things!!

Here’s how to create this CAS Scrapbook Layout:

Run the 12 x 12 layout page through the sewing machine to add stitch lines on all four sides of the layout page to add texture.

Snapshots Stamp Set

Randomly stamp the circles and the star from the Snapshots Stamp Set using the Altenew Embossing Clear Ink.

Sprinkle Altenew Crystal Clear Embossing Powder over the stamped images and heat set it.

Snapshots stamp set

Square the corners of the photo and place down on the layout in the center.

Snapshot stamp set

Using the School Days stamp set, stamp three different sentiments: one above the photo (which is the title) and two below the photo to give explanation of the future.

Super nice and easy!!

Let’s take another look:

Creating this super clean and simple layout was easy and fun.  So what do you think?  Would you create a clean and simple layout using pattern paper, stamps and embossing powder? I would love to hear from you!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Love this quick clean layout. So many times there is so much embellishment you lose the picture and it’s meaning. This is perfect. Thanks.

Hey Mary!! Thank you so much!! My style is pretty CAS. Its so much easier for me to do then to add all of the embellishments. I have a hard time placing them. So I really appreciate your comment.
