Hello, Altenew fans!
Terhi Koskinen here to inspire you with our fresh, wide washi tapes!
Have you seen them? I’m still in awe of how beautiful and wide the washi tapes are. Perfect for so much more than just giving a small touch for a layout, these washi tapes can really be the main embellishment of a scrapbook layout!
I chose to use the Floral Flurries Washi Tape which has a small touch of earth tone colors, easy blooms and leaves to be cut out. I took a wide strip of the washi tape and taped it down to a regular white paper, then started to cut the images out. Much easier than trying to cut only the tape.
As the washi tape is flat, super thin as it should be, I wanted to add dimension to the layout and decided to add lots of 3D foams under the small set of the washi tape blooms. Easy but so effective!
The story behind this layout is about my first Altenew workshop when I taught in Norway last fall. It was so much fun! If you’d like to join me for another class and to make more happy memories somewhere warm with an inspiring company, come and join me in a scrapbook cruise next November!
We will have nine unforgettable days on the sea and visit the lovely, sunny South Pacific Islands. The cruise leaves and returns to Sydney. Read the details here.
Hope you are inspired by the washi tape fun!
