Wild Hibiscus on Transparent Scrapbook Layout

by Reiko Tsuchida

Hello there!

Reiko here and today I’m sharing a 6×6 scrapbook layout created with the Wild Hibiscus Stamp Set.

This set contains outlines of pretty flowers and butterflies with a few sentiments about mothers. I used this outline stamp with a transparent sheet and the Permanent Black Crisp Ink.

When my kids were small, they always had something for me on Mother’s Day. I miss all those paintings of me and the heartwarming letters from my girls. It will be nice to hang this 6×6 layout somewhere in my room and feel the happiness again day by day.

This is how it looks from the back. Before I cut 4 strips of paper from the Reflection Collection Paper, I stamped flowers and butterflies with the Permanent Black Crisp Ink.

Coloring with the Artist Markers was so much fun to do. I chose blue from the Artist Markers Set A and yellow from Set B. Even without any artistic skills, the markers glow beautifully on a cardstock paper. So don’t worry and just play around with them.

The Permanent Black Crisp Ink was perfect for this project. If you feel like you don’t like your stamped images, you can just wipe them and give it a try once more.

I don’t hesitate to call myself the ‘BEST MOM in the World’ and I’m so thankful that Altenew made this sentiment. This is for all the moms in the world!

This creative moment is for you to have more happy and wonderful feelings in your lives.

Have fun and make sure to do what makes you happy.

Reiko

Thanks Reiko, its gorgeous and I love it that you framed a great memory from your kids when they where little with flowers and butterflies. Yes, this kind of things makes mom’s happy, I have a photo in my craftroom from my daughter when she was 2 years (she is now 30), with vibrant pink sunglases and a big smile on here face. Everytime I see that photo it makes me smile.
