Quick Scrapbook Layout with Subtle Flower Vine Background

by Lilith Eeckels

Welcome to another day with some scrapbooking inspiration. On one of my YouTube Lives for Altenew, I used kraft cardstock for a card and was immediately inspired to create a layout with a kraft background.

I love how pretty the teals and pinks look against the kraft color and it is different from white or colored cardstock.

To add some detail to the background, I used the Flower Vine Stamp Set and Hazelnut Crisp Ink to get a tone on tone look.  Then I cut out some floral elements from papers from the Summer Garden 6×6 Patterned Paper Pack. I also had two die-cut hearts leftover from a previous project. To cut them out I used the Halftone Hearts Nesting Die Set.

I made the journaling strips with sentiments from the Watercolor Halftone Stamp Set. As for the title, I decided to cut out a word using one of the dies from the Script Word Die Sets.

To finish the layout, I doodled some shapes and lines and added some fuchsia confetti.

You can see how the layout came together below or watch in HD on YouTube.

I hope this post has given you some new ideas! Happy scrapping.

This layout was so pretty. I loved what you did with simple items and used some things out of your “stash”. We all have that stash and forget to check it most of the time.

The patterned paper looks great in this grouping. I like the added hand drawn elements.
