Get to know Victoria!
Hello! I’m Victoria Calvin, owner and creative director at Victoria Marie Designs. I teach online scrapbooking classes through Victoria Marie Designs Online Classes, host yearly scrapbooking retreats, and create content on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and on the Victoria Marie Blog. I love scrapbooking and all things paper crafting! My passion is to teach others the joy of memory keeping and to encourage robust and transparent storytelling. I believe in the power of storytelling through pictures and journaling. Scrapbooking is merely a vessel for our stories to live on for generations to come.
Let’s check out her project!
For my project, I used the Beloved Memories Creativity Kit to create an 8.5″ x 11″ scrapbook page featuring embossed floral clusters. The kit includes the Cherished Memories Stamp and Die Set, You Are Loved Die, Feeling Dotty Stencil, and the Creative Edges: Lace Die. All of these materials are perfect for creating stunning scrapbook layouts!
Quick and Easy Black & White 8.5″ x 11″ Scrapbook Page
To begin, I used a powder tool to apply a thin coat of powder to a piece of black heavy cardstock. Next, I applied embossing ink to the two floral stamps and two of the leaf stamps included in the Cherished Memories Stamp Set. Each image was stamped on the black cardstock.
To the stamped images, I applied white embossing powder and set the powder with a heat tool. The images were cut using the Cherished Memories Die Set.
Next, I prepared the background of my layout using heavy white cardstock, and black and white striped patterned paper. I added two 3×3 inch photos and created clusters of the heat-embossed flowers to the top and bottom of the layout. To anchor the photos, I die cut a border using the Creative Edges: Lace Die.
To complete this layout, I added puffy hearts, a chipboard ampersand, and a title. I am blown away by the impact of the stamp flowers and leaves! What a great wait to elevate the look of any scrapbook project.

“You are Loved” – Floral 12×12 Scrapbook Layout
Because I had so much fun using this stamp set on my first layout, I decided to make a second spread! Using the same stamp set, I created a 12″ x 12″ layout. However, for this project, I used vellum and water-reactive pigment inks to create the flowers and leaves.
To begin, I blended three ink colors on a piece of vellum paper using a blender tool. After applying the ink, I added some powder to the vellum paper using a powder tool.
Next, I stamped the floral image and two leaf images from the Cherished Memories Stamp Set using embossing ink. All of the stamped elements were heat set using white embossing powder and a heat tool.
Using the Cherished Memories Die Set, I die cut each floral and leaf element. Next, I used the Feeling Dotty Stencil and water-reactive pigment ink to create a stenciled background.
Two 3 x 4-inch photos were positioned in the middle of the layout. Layered under the photos are coordinating patterned paper and a pocket for hidden journaling. Once the photos were in place, I created two clusters, one on each side of the photos, using the floral and leaf images.
A title was created using the You Are Loved Die, and black and white heavy cardstock, cut three times to create a dimensional look. The die-cut phrases were stacked and offset to add interest. Lastly, wood veneer pieces, puffy hearts, and stickers were added to complete the layout.
A big thank you to Altenew for these fantastic products. I had so much fun creating these projects and I hope that you were inspired to use your Altenew products to make a scrapbook project!
