Radial Hearts Cover Die Highlight
Hello and welcome to the Altenew Scrapbook Blog! It’s me, Sandra, and I’m sharing three fun projects that I created with the Radial Hearts Cover Die. The three projects are:
- radial heartsĀ scrapbook layout
- cute treat bag/box
- two fun handmade notebook covers
And now let’s have a look at the three projects I created.
First Project | Scrapbook Layout
I used white cardstock for the background of the layout. Next, I layered three die-cut pieces of different patterned papers from the Pastel Dreams 6×6 Paper Pack. I cut some of the elements from the two papers at the top to add more dimension. Then I placed a round photo onto one of the patterned papers.
Then I glued the die-cut hearts onto the white cardstock background with liquid glue. I can tell you that this was some piece of work. You have to be very patient and brave to attach all those hearts onto the background :). In the last step, I stamped sentiments onto the background with Jet Black Crisp Dye Ink. And I also used my sewing machine to add stitched details. I think it was totally worth the effort.
Second Project | Cute Treat Box
To make the treat box, I used a die from my stash and a paper from the Pastel Dreams 6×6 Paper Pack. Then I decorated the treat box with a circular cut-out that I made with the Radial Hearts Cover Die. Furthermore, I added some hearts and a stamped title. I think the treat box turned out really well.
Third Project | Handmade Notebook Covers
The final projects for today are two handmade notebooks. I created the covers with the Radial Hearts Cover Die. One of the covers has an acetate cover with scattered hearts inside. I sewed the acetate with my sewing machine to make sure that the hearts stay in place.
Last but not least, I hope you like my inspiration with the Radial Hearts Cover Die. Now have fun using your favorite Altenew products on your scrapbook projects. Have a good day and keep on being a creative soul.
Xoxo,
Sandra
